A game that summed up the season so far. The weather was miserable, so were the crowd. The PA was deafening again the crowd was silent, and couldnt even bring itself to boo the players off the pitch. Southport were poor in the first half, better in the second but could have played for 90 days and not scored. The highlight of the match was the fight in the Kettering goalmouth which saw their keeper and Kirkup being sent off.
At least we didnt drop any more league points today.
Will sacking the manager solve the problems that Haig Ave has had for over two seasons?
